Students who are interested in attending Elizabethtown Community and Technical College in August are invited to participate in one of ECTC’s College Signing Days in July.
“College Signing Day is a special day of recognition for students, symbolic of their commitment to pursue educational and career goals,” said Samantha Manire, ECTC Admissions Advisor. “We look forward to celebrating with those who are coming to ECTC in the fall, as well as meeting with others who are interested in learning more about ECTC.”
The College Signing Day events are from 6 – 8 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, July 14 at ECTC’s Leitchfield Campus; 6 – 8 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 15 at ECTC’s Main Campus, Regional Postsecondary Center; and 6-8 p.m. EDT on Thursday, July 16 at ECTC’s Springfield Campus.
Students who have complete admissions packets, including applications, placement test scores and transcripts, will have the opportunity to register for classes and secure the best schedules possible to fit their needs. Admissions experts, financial aid counselors and academic advisors will be on hand to answer questions and help others complete the enrollment process.
Each participating student will receive a certificate of commitment and the opportunity for a photo with the college president and CEO, Dr. Thelma White. Anyone interested in learning more about the college, even if they have not applied, is welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served. Parents and spouses are invited to participate.
All of the College Signing Days are open to anyone interested in learning more about educational and career opportunities at ECTC.
