Humanities Night: "Let Freedom Ring!" in honor of Black History Month

The Elizabethtown Community and Technical College Division of Arts & Humanities, in honor of Black History Month, presents Humanities Night:
Let Freedom Ring!
Tuesday, February 18, 7 – 8 p.m. in the Science Building Auditorium
This Humanities Night event is free and open to the public.

The event will include:
Associate Professor Terri Stewart discussing the historical context, detailing the people and events of the Civil Rights Movement.

Assistant Professor Kevin Shank exploring the musical context with the songs of the Civil Rights Movement, including spirituals, folk, and protest music (and you’ll sing along!)
Professor Katrina Eicher and members of THA 126 and 127, presenting a
dramatic staged reading of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s I Have a Dream speech.
